New Book!

And Other Life Updates

Well, hello there,

Coming live, but not really, from the Writing Cave on a beautiful Monday morning. Cool weather with some overcast, just how I like it. It’s been a few months since I last checked in, and thought it was time to share some news on new books, life updates, and some other random tidbits.

Book Updates

First, let’s dive into some book updates. I have some pretty exciting ones this time around.

NEW BOOK!!!

I have a new book out on Kindle at the moment. The third installment in The Curiosity Collection.

Be careful what you wish for.

Nikki loves video games and is the best player around. No one can beat her. Not her family, her friends Mia and Peter, or anyone who challenges her. Nikki likes being the best at games, but she is always looking for a new game and the next challenge. When a mysterious arcade opens up in her hometown and people start to go missing, Nikki finds that the new video games aren’t the only challenge she will need to face. With the help of her friends, she works to try and solve the mysteries of the arcade and the missing people, all while playing the most dangerous game for the most prized possession. Her life.

A Quarter Life

It is currently out on Kindle and Kindle Unlimited, but will also be out in paperback sometime in January. I am currently waiting for the final back cover artwork before I can publish it in paperback. Stay tuned for info on that release.

Other Works

As always, I have multiple other works in progress. This is due to a serious case of shiny object syndrome. However, I have some great plans for 2025 and some awesome works being released throughout the year.

The Curiosity Collection #4

I am loving the progress of this one. It is revolved around a passion of mine, D&D. I expect this one to be out sometime in march.

90s Gaming Young Adult Series

I am still working on a piece that is fueled by my love and fondness of the 90s and the gaming. It is coming along nicely. Though, as it is a serious, I am working on the planning and outline a bit more as I continue to write it. So, this one is taking a bit longer than my Curiosity Collection books.

Other Works

As for my other works, I have a couple more in multiple different stages. A handful of ideas for the next Curiosity Collection books—some of those in outline stage.

I have two young adult series in the outline stage, even with some chapters started on one of them.

I also have a new middle grade series that is connected to The Curiosity Collection universe, but will be a series rather than one offs.

Life Updates

Life continues to move one, which, you know, is always good. I am focusing a good bit on my health—even thought the holidays has been a challenge with my eating habits—I still keep my mindset on the goals. However, I will need to undergo a small surgery to remove my gallbladder sometime in January or February.

In my downtime, I have been spending a good amount of time knitting. I finally made my first pair of socks this year, along with four other pairs this fall. It’s been incredibly fulfilling and rewarding. Nothing like a new pair of knitted socks. But really, there is nothing like giving someone a pair of socks that you have knitted as a gift.

What Inspired Me

I continue to put my energy and time into my loved ones and animals. Each and every day, they remind me, inspire, and encourage me to continue doing what I’m doing and remember the ultimate goal of this career and my life’s purpose. To help as many animals as possible.

Well, I think that’s it for this week. Keep an eye out for more updates and new books. I also do a good amount of sales, so keep an eye out for those.
